Abstract

Background: Manufacturing enterprises face increased competition in the current period, characterised by rapid technological advancements and intense global competition. Nigeria's industrial sector requires strategies to enhance organisational performance amid infrastructure challenges and production inefficiencies.  

Objective: The research examined the correlation between organisational culture and corporate performance within selected manufacturing firms. This study aims to assess the impact of digital transformation on organisational culture and business performance.

Method: The study used a descriptive survey research design to achieve its aim.  A structured questionnaire was employed to collect quantitative data for the study. The study utilised the Structural Equation Model (SEM) alongside IBM SPSS Version 26. A total of 302 of the 315 questionnaire copies distributed were deemed valid and properly examined.

Results: The study's findings demonstrate that digital transformation, which significantly affects corporate performance, modifies the relationship between organisational culture and corporate performance.

Conclusion: The advent of digital transformation plays a crucial role in enhancing competitiveness, leaving firms that do not embrace digital transformation to struggle.

Unique Contribution: The study has raised critical issues that emphasise the continuous need for digitisation in the business sector.

Recommendations: Workers must be prepared to adapt as the company's culture becomes increasingly influenced by digital innovation. Additionally, Organisations should implement a business model that aligns with their digital advancements.
