    This issue features 82 high-quality articles, selected from 581 processed manuscripts. This 14% acceptance rate underscores our commitment to rigorous editorial standards despite a significant surge in submissions. Since 2019, the journal has published 300 articles, reflecting steady growth and increasing influence over the past eight years (2019–2026). No special issues or supplementary articles are scheduled for the 2026 calendar year. The next regular issue (Volume 8, Issue 2) is slated for release between 1 and 10 June 2026.

    This issue contains 68 articles. The increase in the number of published articles is due to the significant rise in quality submissions to the journal. We processed 403 submissions for this issue, but only 68 were deemed publishable. This represents a 16.8 % acceptance rate. No publication is planned for the journal this year until January 2026.

    This special issue was published with the financial support of a grant awarded to the Editor-in-Chief, Dr Gever Verlumun Celestine, by the Centre for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS), Bochum, Germany. The grant was awarded to him in his capacity as a research fellow of the Centre. The grant covered editing, printing, archiving, promotion and distribution, but not APC for authors. The Editor-in-Chief edited this special issue.
